How do you pronounce "th"?

I have found a quite interesting commercial about another pronunciation-issue. How do you pronounce “th”? As example, how do you pronounce thinking? Do you say “finking”, “sinking” or “tinking”?
This commercial is about misunderstanding of the word “thinking”

I have heard lot of different pronunciation of “th”. In German-speaking part of Europe, some of the people say “sinking” or “finking” whereas people from East-Europe tend to say “tinking”. What is your experience? Have you ever heard someone saying “tinking” or “sinking”?

  1. "Th" sound is indeed difficult for many English learners. In HK we mostly say "finking" as "f" sound is more common than "th" in Cantonese.

Seeing that different parts of Europe have their different ways to say "th" makes me wonder if this feature unique to the local varieties of English can be used to shape the local identity. For example, do we find an HK identity by saying "fink" instead of "think"? I know that many HK people are embarrassed by their Hong Kong English, but, who really got the right to decide whether an English variety is right or wrong?
